WOMEN IN PODCASTING WORKSHOP

I’m excited to announce Africana Woman is partnering with Women’s history Museum. Their annual women’s workshops have commenced! Due to popular demand, we are continuing with the workshops and our first one is: “Empowering women’s voices - Women in Podcasting Workshop.”

Artmesh is an event for creatives which holds on the first friday’s of every month. It is an interesting gathering which aims at amplifying creative voices.
Poetry and fiction from Africa
Featuring readings from Olive Olusegun and Nnamdi Oguike
This is going to be an evening of poetry and fiction by two new celebrated voices from Africa. It is co-produced by poetry Africa, Literature works, and the University of Polymouth. It will be taking place on Thursday 21 March, 2024 from 19:00-20:30 at the levinsky room, 3rd floor, Roland Levinsky Building.
‘Black Out Poetry’ From African Prose to Poetry

As a poetry lover, this is an opportunity for you to go express yourself. Black out poetry is a form of poetry whereby existing texts by newspaper or novels, and leaving out sections to create poems from the remaining fragments.

The STARTS Prize Africa 2024
The STARTS prize has been a major contributor to building the foundations of a community interlinking artists, companies, scientists, researchers, and businesses. A grand prize of ₤15,000, as well as five awards of distinction of ₤3,000 each, will recognize pioneering works that contribute to the positive development and digital transformation of the cultural sector in Africa. The prizes will be awarded during the Ars Electronica Festival on September 4-8, 2024 in Linz, Austria.
EL PADRINO JAZZ NIGHT
This is a music event that holds every Thursday by 8:00pm at El Padrino Lounge, Airport, Ghana. It is an opportunity to get immersed in live tunes from De Dynamics and keep the vibes going with Dj Grandmasterque and Tomboch on the Talking drum.
